Fun Fact: V12s make great hot plates!
NANANANANANA BACK UP CAR !
So, I was on my way home at a stoplight when ABC light came on . When the light went green, I pulled forward and saw a small puddle on the ground. I pulled over and the car was riding at normal height so I limped the 5 min home. Upon further inspection, I noticed there was fluid all over the resivoir so I removed the dipstick and then it all boiled over...

It’s clearly because you keep feeding your car Wendy’s. It’s bad for it, you know!

Better savour that Wendy’s, you’ll likely be eating Ramen for a while after you get the ABC fixed.

Don't rub it in...

Has the system been serviced or repaired recently? This happens mostly from being over filled. If not, then I suggest a flush and filter replacement. If the problem continues after that you will be looking at either the pump or valve blocks.
Where is the level after it stopped puking? Any warnings on the dash?

Thanks! It was serviced in October but there have been intermittent ABC lights that were cleared with a ride height cycle. It did seem to be a bit overfilled come to think of it.

And the level was a bit over full, but it might have been the walls of the dipstick well.

Going away with a ride height cycle suggests a flush and filter would do a world of good.

Awesome, thank you so much! Do you have any recommendations for replacement wheels?
Also, you’ve been kinja’d
Or maybe it’s me...

It was both of us!
For wheels I suggest something OE. Try eBay. I really like the S monoblocks. S55 wheels aren’t bad either, and are very similar to S65 wheels. And because I’m weird, the maybach style chrome dinner plates.

Or you can go to a dealer and look at the different wheel options that are available, there are a bunch of different styles. Or take your time trying to piece together a set of S65 wheels. I stumbled across a pair of fronts and a single rear, two different postings.

Hmm. I don’t need wheels and it all depends on how much this bill comes too really. I like the monoblocks as well, but at the price I might as well just buy S65 wheels . Are S55 wheels much cheaper?

The 55 wheels will be cheaper I think, especially used, because they’re a lot more common, basically (or maybe exactly?) The same as 211 E55 wheels and newer S500 sorry wheels. That set I linked above is rough for sure, but I bet a decent set wouldn’t run much more if you can find them.

I was unaware that you could actually boil the fluid...
I’m just gonna go outside and, um, find a way to weld my dipstick in place...

You know, that might not be the best idea in the world...

IF CLEAN FLUID STAYS IN THE SYSTEM, NOTHING CAN BREAK!
